The Rejuvenating Power of Masturbation & Injaculation

This is an email I received from a friend, Bila, in response to a sex question I recently answered: "Can a man orgasm without ejaculating?"

"Recently, you discussed on Youtube the notion of swallowing semen. Aficionados of fellatio and orgasming into a receptive mouth received advice centered on how to deal with semen’s distinct flavor and getting around the gag reflex in order to smoothen the swallowing process. After all, oral sex is erotic and keeping the eroticism in sex is paramount for living an enjoyable, robust sex life. However, should fellatio and all our sex acts necessarily culminate with ejaculation?

There’s no need to pontificate here on how babies are made or how good solo and paired sex feels. My own adolescent sex education began with flipping through pages of Playboy and Penthouse fortuitously found while on the job cleaning apartments and feeling those pleasant tumescent changes in the groin area. Then, by the time I was 17 and ready to leave home for college, my dad popped me with a book, a Catholic primer on sex, and in his infinite wisdom he told me, “Read this and don’t get a girl pregnant.”

Yea, I got it, sex feels good and it’s a means for human reproduction. Well, with that sexual politic firmly entrenched in my psyche, little wonder I didn’t have my first sexual tryst until later in my senior year. With my hormones now red-lining, I became the consummate masturbator, humping my mattress, having sex dreams, and doing whatever possible to bring myself to orgasm. However, by the time I was twenty-six and initiating my second tour with the Peace Corps in El Salvador, I discovered the third perspective on sex that shook my epicurean foundations and forced me to rethink my own sexuality.

There’s another function of sex that few of us are aware of, that’s not covered in high school sex education classes, that’s not promoted by doctors or sex therapists, but that is inextricably linked to our health and longevity. Sex, beyond being our means for procreation and sensual recreation, is our manifest destiny in terms of maintaining our health over our lifetimes. Our sex glands are considered the master glands of our endocrine system alongside the miraculous pituitary.

Our sex glands have the power to fortify or debilitate our bodies and brains. They are the makers of powerful hormones impacting the integrity of our muscular and skeletal systems, brain function, and even behavior. Interestingly semen has a long list of ingredients including cancer-fighting agents, trace elements, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and numerous compounds that are vital for our overall health and the proper functioning of our other endocrines(pituitary, pineal, thyroid, thymus, adrenals, pancreas, sex glands) and brain.

So, should all our sex acts necessarily terminate with ejaculation? To this, I am a naysayer. Why? Because when the sex glands are excessively enticed to withdraw semen during peak orgasm, then there results a chronic deficiency in the bloodstream of the nutrients required by the other endocrines to make their respective hormones. And, even the brain suffers as a result of sexual gluttony since it can’t readily find the available nutrients to make its precious cerebrospinal fluid, the liquid that protects and enables the brain to function properly. This certainly gives new meaning to the expression ‘fucking your brains out’. Sexual excess simply makes us dumber and physically weaker.

My advice here, supported by millennia of ancient Taoist and Hindu doctrine and modern medical research, is to expand our sexual repertoire to include valley orgasms, arriving and staying at the sensual threshold prior to spasm, as opposed to always getting to peak or full-body orgasms. By periodically refraining from ejaculating, you are invigorating your body with sexual energy, and allowing it to absorb those vital nutrients that otherwise would be lost to the detriment of the other endocrines and the brain. With valley orgasms, the body doesn’t have to work extra to extract nutrients from the bloodstream in order to replenish the lost semen. Also, your pleasurable sex acts last longer without the down time or refractory period resulting from peaking.

So, double your pleasure, and double your fun, mixing valley and peak orgasms in your sexual practices. Not only will you and your significant other reap the benefits, but so will your body and brain."

Rejuvenation, injaculation, and orgasm?

Sat, 07/28/2012 - 18:47

I recall reading that some men have 'retrograde' ejaculation, which occurs into the bladder rather than directly out of the penis. If I"m not mistaken, men sometimes trained themselves to do this. Taoism did preach that ejaculation was 'depleting', but there is no evidence for this that I'm aware of. Kinsey noted that there were men who were multi-orgasmic and who could ejaculate multiple times, and then would keep having 'dry' orgasms when the prostate had nothing more to eject. I've seen a video clip of a man having five orgasms, complete with ejaculation, in about three minutes  I suppose if he'd kept going, this sort of 'dry' orgasm might have happened to him. This might have been the man studied not long ago at a major university, whose ability to have one orgasm after another apparently dumbfounded the scientists because it wasn't in their worldview that a man could do this. But perhaps it wasn't so surprising. We human beings have often thought we knew all there was to know about a subject---e.g., physics or cosmology---only to find that we hadn't even scratched the surface. I'm sure the same will turn out to be true with human sexuality---for men and women both.

patrick do you have that

patrick do you have that clip?  that seems unreal!
I have been told I am lucky in that I can cum easily several times a nights, and i know that sometimes at the end of the night i know not much if any is cumming out,  still feels great tho!

BaronSaber, yes I'm pretty sure I still have the clip

BaronSaber, yes I'm pretty sure I still have the clip, or could tell you where to find it. The man in question posted several different videos of himself, in each one coming several times in quick succession. I would imagine that not too many people of either gender could manage five or six genuine orgasms in well under five minutes. From the way it appeared, he seemed to be able to do this more or less indefinitely, at least until he got too tired. Other than email I don't have a way of posting the clip itself, but if there was interest in viewing it (and no objection from the community) I could try posting the URL if I can track it down.

Would be interesting to see it.

This guy may have posted his material elsewhere---not sure---but this is one place I tracked down the clip. Very short intervals between the orgasms, and his prostate must have an auxiliary tank somewhere. Anyway, it's not 'premature' if you can just keep doing it!

Wow that's amazing!

Thanks for posting. It's fascinating to see how other penis owners orgasm. I wonder if the cock ring he was wearing had anything to do with his ability to multiorgasm. Once I've come my penis is starting to lose it's erection. If his cock ring stops that proscess from beginning and there's no outflow of blood, that may fool his libido and orgasm mechanism into thinking it can go again with no olfactory preiod and so it does.

You're welcome

Somebody apparently asked him about the cock ring and requested that he masturbate without it. He did, and still had (I think) four orgasms. He posted several more videos in total. So I'm sure the ring helps but isn't absolutely necessary for him. I've had times when there was a lot of stimulation going on (especially during partner sex) when I just stayed hard and kept going, so I know it's possible for an erection to be maintained. Sometimes too the period between erections is quite short and men can get another one rather quickly. Finally, although many men don't know it, erections make male orgasms much easier but aren't absolutely necessary---it's possible to come while completely soft.

Agreed, cumming feels good, and, some dudes can repeat ejaculate during a single sexual tryst. Just be aware of the following- your sex glands are part of the endocrine system. All seven endocrine glands produce hormones made from extracting nutrients flowing in the bloodstream; however, only the sex glands have the capacity for voluntary withdrawal of their hormones from the body as well as the numerous other ingredients found in semen. Excessive withdrawal (ejaculation) by the sex glands limits the availability of those substances in the bloodstream necessary for the function of the other endocrines and the brain. Over time, this can impact health in terms of bone/muscle integrity(osteoporosis), diminished activity of the sex glands as in the case of menopause, reduced performance of the immune system and other maladies related to hormonal imbalances. So, extended sexual health and enjoyment is a question of balancing full body orgasms with valley we age we should also reduce the frequency of peak orgasms. The Taoists use a '.2' rule: multiply your age by .2 to get the number of days one should let the body recuperate from ejaculation before the next orgasmic event. In the interim, enjoy sex to the fullest in the valley of the jolly, ho ho ho! valley orgasm

Orgasm and ill health?

Wed, 08/08/2012 - 16:12

With all due respect, I question this reasoning. I know of no evidence that frequent male orgasm involving ejaculation predisposes men to osteoporosis or any other malady. The Taoist avoidance of ejaculation was supposed to preserve 'vital energy' and lead to eventual immortality. Oddly enough, in hundreds of years of trying, no immortal Taoists have surfaced. It's not at all clear that they even live longer or better than anyone else. Male ejaculation is a normal process, not a predisposition to pathology, and regular ejaculation is important to prostate health and helping to prevent prostate cancer. In fact, studies show that men who ejaculate more than 21 times per month have a 33% lower lifetime risk of prostate cancer---the more ejaculations, the lower the risk of cancer. It could just as well be argued that frequent ejaculation replenishes vitality and gets rid of stale and toxic semen. While there may be some benefit to both sexes learning to expand their orgasms, the Taoist practice of strictly limiting normal male orgasm by making it sound scary and dangerous (while having no such restrictions on female orgasm) is antiquated, superstitious, and anti-male.
